This California Supplemental Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) supplements the information in our Chobolabs Privacy Notice (https://www.chobolabs.com/privacy-policy/) and applies to California residents (“consumers” or “you“). It explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

Unless otherwise expressly stated, all terms in this Notice have the same meaning as defined in our Privacy Notice (https://www.chobolabs.com/privacy-policy/) or as otherwise defined in the CCPA and CPRA.

Our Collection and Use of Personal Information

As detailed in our Privacy Notice, we collect personal information for a range of different purposes, but the main reason we collect information is to offer you products and services. We may collect the following categories of personal information when you use our Services:

– identifiers (such as your username, IP address, email address, or phone number);
– commercial information (such as a record of your in-game purchases, payment methods, or subscriptions you’ve signed up for, if any);
– internet and network information (analytics about how you interact with our Services);
– general geolocation information (because your IP address may indicate your general location); and
– other information that identifies or can be reasonably associated with you.

We collect personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in the “Use of information we collect” section of the Privacy Notice.

As a California resident, you have the following privacy rights:

– Right to Know: You have the right to be informed about the categories of personal information we collect or disclose about you; the categories of sources of such information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information; and the categories of third parties with whom we share/disclose personal information. Such information is also set forth in our Privacy Notice (thuglife@chobolabs.com) and this California Notice. You also have the right to request that we provide you with access to, or a copy of, certain personal information we hold about you.
– Right to Request Deletion: You have the right to request we delete certain personal information we have about you.
– Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate information we have about you.
– Right to Opt Out of Sale: You have the right to know whether we sell your data and opt out of a sale if we do. We don’t sell the personal information of our users.
– Right to Opt Out of Sharing for Behavioral Advertising: You have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for purposes of behavioral advertising. We use cookies and similar technologies to show our users relevant advertising and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can opt out of interest-based targeting provided by participating ad servers:
– on your browser, by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative, AboutAds.info, or the European Digital Advertising Alliance
    – on your mobile device, by visiting NAI Mobile Choices or AppChoices
    – via your mobile device’s privacy settings, by selecting the “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS) or “Delete advertising ID” (Android)
– Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information.
– Right to Non-Discrimination: We won’t discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different level of quality of goods or services if you choose to exercise these rights.

Certain information may be exempt from such requests under California law. We may need to request additional information from you to verify your identity before processing your request.

Authorized Agents

You may also designate an agent to make requests to exercise your rights as described above. We will take steps both to verify the identity of the person seeking to exercise their rights as listed above, and to verify that your agent has been authorized to make a request on your behalf through providing us with a signed written authorization or a copy of a legally sufficient power of attorney. We likewise may require that you verify your own identity, depending on the type of request you make.

Shine the Light 

California’s “Shine the Light” law gives residents the right under certain circumstances to request information from us regarding the manner in which companies share certain categories of personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
